  1. To connect the Earebel headphones to a smartphone or any other Bluetooth®-enabled device, press the Play/Pause button (on the Soft-Touch-Control-Panel) for 5 seconds until the LED light alternately flashes blue and red. The headphones can now be found by the Bluetooth®-enabled device.

  3. Search for "Earebel", select it and connect the two devices.

My Earebel Bluetooth® headphones won’t connect to my Bluetooth® device. What can I do?

The "Earebel Bluetooth® headphones – powered by Earebel" use the Bluetooth® version "Vimicro 4.1".

The "Earebel Bluetooth® heaphones – Sound by JBL" use the Bluetooth® version "CSR8635 V4.0".

If your Bluetooth®-enabled device does not recognize the Earebel Bluetooth® headphones, we recommend that you check that the Bluetooth® version of your device is up to date and update it if necessary. For information on how to update your Bluetooth®-enabled device, please refer to the instructions for the respective device or to the manufacturer's website.

Your Bluetooth®-enabled device may have a higher Bluetooth® version installed. Normally every Bluetooth® version should be "backward compatible", but we have already experienced that this is only the case after a new update and troubleshooting of the respective version.

All further information and technical data for our headphones can be found on the "Technical Data" page.

Material Questions

Are the Earebel beanies and headbands also suitable for allergy sufferers?

The Earebel beanies and headbands of the Style- and Sport-collection are also suitable for severe wool allergy sufferers. They are made of 100% acrylic yarn and synthetic-functional materials. If there is only a slight wool allergy, you can also try our Plait Long Beanies from the Prime-/Handmade-collection. These are made of a wool blend of 50% alpaca/50% acrylic. Alpaca wool is better than sheep's wool for allergy sufferers, because the hair of alpaca hardly contains lanolin (wool grease).

All information about the materials and yarns we use can be found on the page "Material Information".

How can I wash the Earebel beanies and headbands?

To wash and clean the beanies and headbands, the headphones must be removed previously!

We recommend washing every model of the Earebel beanies and headbands - especially the handmade models of the Prime-/Handmade-collection - by hand and without fabric softener. Some of our models of the Style- und Sport-collection can be washed in the machine, but the shape of the materials is put to test by spinning and drying, so that the shape can be different after washing.

You can find exact washing information on the washing label in your Earebel beanie and headband.

It is best to wash by hand, do not bleach, do not dry wash, do not iron and do not tumble dry!

General Questions

Can I order the beanies / headbands and headphones separately?

Yes, you can order all Earebel products individually according to the "Mix & Match" principle. Simply choose the right headgear from our Sport-, Style- or Prime-collection and then select the headphones that are right for you from our three models:

The different headphones fit into all Earebel caps and headbands and can be changed from model to model within a short time.

How do I install the Earebel Headphones into the beanie and headband?

To install and integrate your Earebel Headphones into a Earebel Beanie or Headband correctly, please follow the picture- and/or video-tutorial on the page “How To Install”!

If you integrate your headphones correctly, the elastic black material around the headphone hole will not be visible anymore.

The Headphone with the Earebel logo “e” and the “Soft-Touch-Control-Pad” is always supposed to be on the left side. The headphone with the Earebel lettering “earebel” is always on the right side.
Installation:

  1. For Sport- and Prime-collection Beanies and Headbands put one headphone through the little black loop on the inside of your headgear. For all models with an inner fleece like the Prime-collection slip the headphones through the slit on the inside of the fleece lining.
  2. Now take your headphones and put them through the headphone hole from the inside to the outside. The headphones should now be on the outside of your headgear, only the little cable between the two headphones comes through the “ear-hole”.
  3. Now press the headphones from the outside into the black opening. If you do it correctly the black material will not be visible from the outside anymore and the headphone is in one line with your headgear.

What is the right size of the Earebel beanies and headbands  for my head?

All Earebel beanies and headbands are made with the “Generic Ear Fit” Technology and have an elastic fit for all head circumferences. For a perfect fit various models of our Sport- and Prime-collection come in two different sizes: “S/M” and “L/XL”:

  • Size “S/M” is recommended for head circumferences up to 57 cm (22.4 in)
  • Size “L/XL” is recommended for head circumferences bigger than 57 cm (22.4 in)

Does Earebel feature beanies and headbands for kids?

Especially the model "Dock Beanie" is suitable for children from 10 years with a smaller head circumference thanks to its slightly tighter fit. The "Steeze Beanie" model is also suitable for small heads thanks to its slightly shorter cut (does not completely cover the ears).
